Node Deployment Steps
**Step 1: Download Node Software**
Download the node client software for your OS from W3A official website.
**Step 2: Install NVIDIA Drivers**
Ensure latest NVIDIA drivers and CUDA toolkit are installed.
**Step 3: Configure Node**
1. Run the node client
2. Connect your wallet address
3. Set node name and description
4. Configure compute allocation ratio
**Step 4: Start Node**
Click "Start Node" button, system will auto-run performance tests and register to network.
**Step 5: Receive Compute NFT**
After node verification, you'll receive Compute NFT certification and start earning.
Earnings Calculation
**Earnings Formula**:
Node Earnings = Base Earnings × Performance Multiplier × Uptime Multiplier × Quality Multiplier
**Factors**:
| Factor | Weight | Description |
|--------|--------|-------------|
| Compute Performance | 40% | GPU model and actual performance test |
| Uptime | 30% | Longer continuous uptime = higher weight |
| Service Quality | 20% | Task completion rate and accuracy |
| Geographic Distribution | 10% | Bonus for nodes in scarce regions |
**Earnings Examples**:
- RTX 3060 node: Est. 50-100 $W3A/month
- RTX 4080 node: Est. 150-300 $W3A/month
- RTX 4090 node: Est. 200-400 $W3A/month
*Actual earnings depend on network task volume and node performance*
Performance Optimization
**Hardware Optimization**:
- Ensure good GPU cooling to avoid thermal throttling
- Use quality power supply for stable power
- Clean dust regularly
**Software Optimization**:
- Keep drivers updated to latest stable version
- Close unnecessary background programs
- Set reasonable power limits (80-90% recommended)
**Network Optimization**:
- Use wired connection, avoid unstable WiFi
- Configure router port forwarding correctly
- Choose low-latency network provider
**Operation Strategy**:
- Set auto-restart to ensure continuous uptime
- Monitor GPU temperature with protection threshold
- Check logs regularly for anomalies
Troubleshooting
**Node Won't Start**:
1. Check if GPU drivers are correctly installed
2. Confirm CUDA version compatibility
3. Check log files for detailed errors
**Abnormally Low Earnings**:
1. Check network connection stability
2. Confirm GPU performance test results are normal
3. Check if tasks are being assigned
**Frequent Disconnections**:
1. Check network stability
2. Confirm adequate power supply
3. Check if GPU temperature is too high
**Task Execution Failures**:
1. Check if VRAM is sufficient
2. Confirm model files are complete
3. Check error logs to locate issues
